Juan Alvarez

Numismatist

Juan has been involved in numismatics since 1999 when he took his first job in the coin industry. He started in the industry researching the coins he handled. Over his numismatic career, Juan has attended dozens of shows and has dealt with coins ranging in value from one dollar to many thousands of dollars.

Juan joined ICG’s team full time 2009 and is an incredibly valuable asset. Having been born and raised in Colombia, Juan speaks fluent Spanish and assists our overseas customers by answering their questions and translating their requests. Currently, Juan focuses mainly on modern coins, but occasionally works with foreign and classic coins as well.
