It’s really quite simple.  If you have a set of ICG coins in any grade whatsoever (ICG’s Personal Pedigree™ is for all collectors, not just ones with the finest known sets), resubmit them to ICG. For only $5 per coin ICG will reholder each coin and put your name, initials or “brand” on the insert tag of each and every coin in your set.  On the ICG submission form under “Tier of Service,” check “Other” and write Personal Pedigree.  (It’s vital that you print clearly on the submission form what name you want on the holder.)

     What comprises a set?  ICG recognizes that for many the joy of collecting is to complete a particular set of coins. What defines a complete set is personal for each collector and the real definition is completing the goals for what you consider to be a collection.  For many, it is the traditional definition of every date and mintmark for a series, others concentrate on type sets, year sets, grade sets, or a set of the first issue of each type.

     ICG will holder any set of coins with a Personal Pedigree™ that are reasonably complete.  ICG reserves the right to determine, on a set by set basis, which sets qualify for a Personal Pedigree™.  Grade will never be taken into consideration as to whether a set is worthy of a Personal Pedigree™, as these sets are about you, not us.  So if you collect Very Fine coins, your set qualifies.
